爭霸雲端 IBM罕批亞馬遜

（中央社台北4日電）為爭霸雲端，國際商業機器公司（International Business Machines Corp. ）火力全開，猛批對手亞馬遜公司（Amazon.com ）。

根據「華爾街日報」（WSJ）報導，IBM週一非比尋常的推出行銷活動，點名亞馬遜是競爭對手，並暗指IBM是商機逾400億美元的雲端運算市場的霸主。IBM的宣傳活動向來鮮少提到競爭對手。

一則即將刊登於各大報章媒體的印刷廣告問到「誰家的雲端比亞馬遜多支援27萬個網站？」「如果你的答案是IBM，代表你消息靈通。IBM雲端運算比世上其他對手能夠支援更多的當紅網站。」

隨著企業爭相租用雲端虛擬主機，轉而減少軟硬體採購，IBM的行銷活動凸顯雲端爭霸的利害關係。IBM不願透露砸下多少錢展開這項行銷活動。

IBM近來不敵亞馬遜，痛失美國中情局價值6億美元的雲端合約。亞馬遜在這起標案中意外勝出，可能意味將開啟通往對資安比較敏感的政府機構與商業客戶的大門，而這向來是IBM的地盤。（譯者：中央社趙蔚蘭）1021104
