克服16分落後，休士頓火箭下半場狂轟64分，台裔後衛「哈佛小子」林書豪決勝節更是扮演「第四節先生」，全場攻下本季新高20分，率隊以104：93逆轉擊敗猶他爵士，取得開季3連勝。

上半場，火箭被爵士狂抓進攻籃板，自己進攻又有氣無力，前2節落後多達16分。

從休息室回到球場後，火箭彷彿換了一支全新球隊，在「大鬍子」James Harden單節12分帶領下，一波15：2攻勢將比數追平。

決勝節，火箭在鹽湖城找回「快打旋風」，「哈林連線」Harden、林書豪開始發飆，遠投近切無往不利。

林書豪先在7分33秒投進高難度的翻身後仰跳投，雖然接下來投了一顆「籃外空心」，但馬上以一記空檔三分球討回顏面。

4分22秒，林書豪接獲「魔獸」Dwight Howard的回傳球，在罰球線附近投進兩分，之後演出一記高難度的側身上籃，將領先擴大至7分差。

「林來瘋」發威，Harden也沒閒著，單節也貢獻7分，包括讀秒階段提前宣判爵士死刑的兩罰。

林書豪第4節獨得9分，全場繳出20分、3籃板、4助攻、1抄截，還有1次阻攻，發生3次失誤。
