May I want know why your phone battery is still using Li-ion not Li-polymer? •Anthony : Let me analyze it for you and provide you assistance. Thank you. Actually I did checked and the thing is, Li-ion is the standard battery that we are using and Lithium-ion batteries are common in consumer electronics. lithium polymer technology had problems with high internal resistance. Other challenges included longer charge times and lower maximum discharge rates compared to more mature technologies Chemistry, performance, cost and safety characteristics vary across LIB types Why Iphone 5 and HTC are using Li-polymer? •Anthony : I am sorry for that but this might be a good proposal that we can forward to Engineering for future products customer. There are units like laptop computers. There might be some models that uses Lithium Polymer and I saw those 900 series laptops. But this is a good proposal that we can forward to management for enhance the battery components and capability of all Samsung products specially for mobile phones.
