春訓出賽兩場 他遭皇家釋出

曾在美日職棒都打過的潘尼(Brad Penny)，難道真的不行了？由於在春訓糟糕的表現，與他簽下小聯盟約的皇家決定將潘尼釋出。

效力過馬林魚、道奇、紅襪、巨人、紅雀、老虎的35歲老將潘尼，曾在2006年、2007連續兩年搶下16勝，並兩年都入選明星賽，不過2012年短暫效力軟體銀行鷹隊後遭釋出，還被地方報紙評為「隊史最糟糕的簽約」。

今年2014年與皇家簽下小聯盟合約，不過表現不符合球隊期待，春訓2場出賽，4局就被敲出13支安打失掉7分，防禦率高達15.75，如此糟糕的表現讓皇家直接將他釋出。

而潘尼先前被懷疑，左手手傷是因為去用拳頭揍牆壁，對此潘尼表示，左手是受傷沒錯，但是一個奇怪的事故，並非用手去揍牆壁。

潘尼在大聯盟13年，一共有119勝100敗4.26防禦率的成績，2012年是他最後一次出現在大聯盟，效力巨人，0勝1敗6.11防禦率。
