中華聯盟1日公布5月投手單月MVP，兄弟象增菘瑋、義大犀牛林益全分別獲選，林益全連兩個月獲選打擊的月MVP。

增菘瑋5月戰績4勝1敗、防禦率2.48，優於犀牛的林晨樺，4勝0敗、防禦率4.05，因此增菘瑋在29張選票中拿到24票，以絕對優勢壓制林晨樺的3票，以及犀牛希克、林英傑各1票，在中華職棒拿到第1個月MVP。

林益全5月出賽20場，打擊率3成85，全壘打6支，打點19分，表現相當優異，因此林益全獲得18票，勝過兄弟象彭政閔的9票，犀牛胡金龍的2票以及曼尼的1票，連續兩個月獲得打擊的月MVP。

林益全也曾在去年的5月及6月連拿兩次打擊的月MVP。
