謝長廷上午在政大以「兩岸前瞻與憲政發展」為題發表演講時，幽默回應他的大陸微博被刪一事。

他先引用坐在他身旁的政大社會科學院副院長李酉潭「要看一個國家自不自由，就看發言之後自不自由」的言論為例，他說，他po文完之後，微博就不見了，藉此表達對中國是否自由的看法。他還語帶詼諧說，他後來有去信細究原因，等了好久才有所回應。
