義大犀牛總教練徐生明真的離開了他最心愛的球場與家人，不過他對棒球的精神與態度，無人能敵。
抱病領兵前往日本打亞錦賽，雖然他一度痛到受不了，並咬牙打止痛針帶領中華隊再挑戰雅典奧運，徐總從來不喊累，因為他真的很愛棒球。
私底下會跟球員開玩笑還會主動關心球員近況，但是球場上備戰一絲不苟，這就是徐總讓球員又愛又怕的原因。
不過徐總記憶力超好，從職棒元年所發生的事，他都可以一一細數，包括自己過去的歷史，球隊選手的記錄，他都放在心中。
林益全說，「我很感謝徐總曾在我第一年打球時幫我製造機會，拿到打點王，這一點小巧思，就可以看得出他的細心。」
關心球員外，徐總也早就打好如意算盤，除了義守大學成立棒球隊，一、二軍的規劃與培育，他都想好了，目的要讓義大成為中職強隊，吸引更多大企業投入。 (接下一頁)
