在台熱賣的《鋼鐵人3》（IRON MAN 3）在世界各地搶先上映後，終於在上週末於「本土」北美上映，創下北美影史首週末票房第2名；全球票房目前已突破6.8億美金（200億台幣），堪稱超級印鈔機！
《鋼鐵人3》上週五（3日）在北美上映，以1.75億美金（約53億台幣）的超好成績，拿下北美票房冠軍，更榮登北美影史首週票房第2名。不過「團體戰」的《復仇者聯盟》首週票房還是略勝一籌，以2億美金（超過58億台幣）的紀錄，穩坐北美影史首週票房冠軍。

大陸破四項紀錄 范冰冰被虧走錯組
而除了北美之外，《鋼鐵人3》在大陸票房也是狂破紀錄，1日上映首日票房突破1.3億人民幣（6.2億台幣），刷新大陸影史影史首日票房、單日票房、午夜場、週三開畫4項紀錄，截自昨日票房更賣破4億人民幣（19.1億台幣）。
不過大陸「特供版」的《鋼鐵人3》，也因為開拍時強調加入的「中國元素」被觀眾狠酸，尤其兩位大陸演員王學圻、范冰冰的戲份被認為像「走錯劇組」般的多餘，戲份生硬、牽強，還加入「中國很多地方可以幫忙」的對白，以及大陸牛奶的置入性行銷。

更有網友盤點了范冰冰的對白，計有「吳醫生他們來了」、「為什麼要做這個手術？如果有閃失，人類就會沒有一個大英雄」、「做這個手術的全都死光了！」挨批對劇情沒幫助、可有可無，出場時甚至引來竊笑。
