活了66年 看了醫生才知自己是女人

香港醫學雜誌(Hong Kong Medical Journal)報導，1名66歲的香港老人，終其一生都自認是一個男人；但因為腹部腫大，去看過香港醫生之後，很意外的被診斷出：他居然是個「女人」。

報導指出，醫生在檢查「他」腫大的腹部時發現，腫大的原因是，他的大囊腫長在一個卵巢之上。

醫生表示，這種情況是2種罕見遺傳疾病的結果。

首先，這名病患罹患了特納氏症候群(Turner syndrome)，因為染色體出問題，影響到女孩或婦女身材矮小、第二性徵不明顯，以及不孕症。

此外，這名病患還罹患了先天性腎上腺增生症(congenital adrenal hyperplasia)，病患會過度分泌男性賀爾蒙，會長鬍子，也會有小型的陰莖，讓他看起來像個男性。

報告指出，如果不是他長了卵巢囊腫，以及他的特殊狀況，也許永遠不會有人發現他是個女性。

這篇報告是由香港2家醫院的7位醫生共同執筆，在3日刊出。
