竹縣第一家腦中風照護中心

新竹縣仁慈醫院成立竹縣第一家腦中風照護中心，由新光醫院支援4 名經驗豐富的神經專科醫師，提供全天候的緊急照會服務，合作至今僅3個月，成功治癒3位急性腦中風個案，提升竹縣醫療品質。

新竹縣長邱鏡淳指出，腦中風是死亡原因前幾名，中風後患者肢體殘障及言語問題等，都需要長期照顧，造成家庭及社會負擔，感謝衛生署與新光醫院的協助，讓腦中風病患得到即時的救援。
