單親爸入監　警員募款助失依3子

花蓮縣瑞穗鄉1名謝姓男子(40歲)因車禍撞傷人，涉業務過失傷害罪，法院屢傳不到因此被通緝。上月中旬逮捕歸案，入監服刑3個月，3名子女頓時失依，警發起募款救急。

警方指出，謝男是單親爸爸，獨自照顧3名子女，家徒四壁、生活十分艱苦，協助申請社會處急難救助金，還發起樂捐募得5000多元。

逮捕謝男的警員說：「抓通緝犯是警察的天職，但實在於心不忍」每天都到謝男家中關心3子女起居，充當「臨時保母」。
