加拿大城市GDP增率 卡加利奪冠

我國駐加拿大經濟組今天傳訊指出，根據加拿大會議局（Conference Board of Canada）針對加國28個大城市2014年最新經濟成長預測，加國大草原省城市將領先全國其他城市，如卡加利（Calgary）為3.7%、里賈納（Regina）為3.5%、艾德蒙頓（Edmonton）為3.4%及沙斯卡通（Saskatoon）為3.2%，領先其他城市。

雖然卡加利去年受水災重創，加國會議局今年仍預估該城市主要產業穩健成長，尤以建築業及製造業成長顯著，經濟成長率3.7%居全國之冠。

反觀首都渥太華（Ottawa）受到政府部門裁員衝擊，經濟成長吊車尾，嚴重落後其他城市。加國會議局指出，去（2013）年渥太華公共行政部門就業人數下滑近9%，打破歷年來降幅最快記錄。
