南投縣私立南開科技大學18日獲教育部通過「以自我評鑑結果申請認證免評」申請，成為全國第一梯次核定自評後免評的技專院校。

南開科大指出，教育部正推動大學自我評鑑，希望透過自評方式，讓大學找到自己的優勢，改正缺點，提升辦學品質，南開今年獲得教育部「邁向頂尖大學計畫」及「獎勵大學教學卓越計畫」補助，因辦學績優進一步獲同意試辦「以自我評鑑結果申請認證免評」。
