員山子分洪道啟動 紓解下游壓力

潭美颱風帶來豪大雨，基隆河上游河川水位高漲，員山子分洪道在傍晚5點45分啟動分洪，紓緩基隆河流入下游的河水量。

水利署指出，由於水位已達到63公尺的分洪水位，分洪功能自動啟動，到六點時有效分洪兩萬一千六百立方公尺。大量洪水經由分洪道直接排入東海，而無需經由基隆河順琉而下穿越大台北地區，對於紓解基隆河下游河川水位上漲壓力有積極意義。

第十河川局指出，基隆河上游山區雨勢持續不斷，目前累積雨量已達354毫米，今天下午啟動的分洪，是員山子分洪道今年首度分洪，也是93年以來第26次分洪。
