基本上吸菸和吸毒有很大的差別，上癮的原理不一樣，菸的尼古丁只影響腦部的「獎勵系統」而毒會讓「內嗎啡停止分泌」。
Q:吸毒者的腦，他和正常人的腦差異為何?
A:差異在於，原本人體腦部會分泌「內嗎啡」屬於正常，但因為吸毒者吸入的毒品含的嗎啡屬於外來，而人體偵測到以後會漸漸停止分泌「內嗎啡」，到最後吸毒者必須完全依靠外來嗎啡不然就會像電視看到的毒癮發作而全身發抖，非常痛苦而不能自制，就是因為腦部的內嗎啡已經停止分泌了。

Q:吸煙者的肺，肺部有黑色一點一點的，那是因為什麼造成的?
A:黑色一點點是菸的成分當中的焦油累積在人體內，導致肺部黑色一點一點的
