matlab 3維繪圖

我是最近才開始接觸matlab的新手

目前我在3維繪圖的地方有個問題

我照著我買的書上打了下列指令碼

[x,y]=meshgrid(-1:0.1:1);

z=x.*exp(-((x-y.^2).^2+y.^2);

mesh(x,y,z),xlabel('x'),ylabel('y'),zlabel('z')

但是我按了RUN之後只在command window出現ans=3

後來我用HELP裡的範例指令跑出來的也只是ans=多少這樣

可以請matlab老手幫我解答嗎
