關於php跳出小方塊，打上內容後送出POST

我想用類似 input value='????'那樣子，

輸入自己的內容後，送出 POST 到下一個頁面進行處理

但我不想把輸入框顯示在網頁上，

而是按了按鈕後例(例如

<input type='submit' value='送出' onClick=

這樣子的方式，讓使用者按了按鈕

跳出一個msg的視窗，然後輸入內容~~按確定(取消的話停留在原頁面)

輸入內容後直接送出 *.php進行下一頁處理

請問這該怎麼辦到呢??因為我不知道這樣是要搜什麼關鍵字才能找的到

.....麻煩各位高手了
