南華大學契種無毒米 為農業找出路

南華大學去年11月與農民契作的「南華米」，以6.3分水田生產出3千餘斤，獲得廣大回響。今年第一期的契作將增加到2.3甲，將於2月17 日開學日，由校長林聰明帶師生參與南華米插秧，體驗農作過程與樂趣，也讓學生了解農民辛苦；同時也將持續推廣「無毒種植」。

這是該校藉由教育部補助的「跨科際問題解決導向課程計畫」，結合在地產業，帶領學生走入社區與農民攜手合作、種植無毒稻米。更希望透過與農民契作代耕的方式，為當地農業找到出路。
