證交所將定期審視上市公司獨董資格

【高佳菁／台北報導】證交所表示，為協助上市公司落實公司治理，即日起將定期審視上市公司獨立董事資格條件及獨立性，使獨立董事於任職期間持續保持客觀公正立場，以保障股東權益，提升董事會運作效能。

證交所指出，金管會在日前預告將要求所有上市（櫃）公司於2015年至2017年間完成獨立董事之設置，並對獨立董事所需具備之資格及條件訂有「公開發行公司獨立董事設置及應遵循事項辦法」，上市（櫃）公司獨立董事之選任及任職期間，均應確實遵循相關規範，而證交所即日起將定期審視上市公司獨立董事資格條件及獨立性，保障股東權益。
