休士頓火箭6日結束新球季首場熱身賽，雖然以1分之差飲恨紐奧良鵜鶘，總教練Kevin McHale對先發球員表現相當滿意。

根據《休士頓紀事報》7日報導，McHale認為火箭先發球員有個好的開始，他說：「我想，他們成功打響了第一砲。」

「他們打得很認真、積極，球的流動也很棒，看得出來是個非常堅強的團隊。」McHale說。

火箭先發五人此役37投20中，命中率高達54.1%，除了前鋒Donatas Motiejunas僅3投0中，「哈林豪帕」四球星表現都相當不錯。

James Harden攻下21分，林書豪11分、4助攻、3抄截，Dwight Howard繳出19分、9籃板，Chandler Parsons全場5投4中，貢獻11分。
