歐巴馬：海軍工廠血案應為美國敲起警鐘

美國總統歐巴馬22日在華盛頓海軍工廠(Navy Yard)槍擊事件的紀念會中，再度慷慨激昂的呼籲就擁槍法案進行改革，認為這起最新發生的血案，應該為美國人敲起一記警鐘。

歐巴馬在悼念海軍工廠血案的一場紀念儀式中說，「沒有其他的先進國家會忍受這樣的暴力，沒有」。歐巴馬強調，「我們不能接受」，美國必須處理槍枝暴力問題。

曾在海軍服役並從事承包生意的亞歷克西(Aaron Alexis)，16日在華盛頓海軍工廠開槍射殺12人，震驚美國社會。

紀念會在命案現場附近的華盛頓海軍陸戰隊軍營(Marine Barracks Washington)舉行。歐巴馬表示，在美國，謀殺率是其他已開發國家的3倍；持槍謀殺率則是其他已開發國家的10倍。

歐巴馬說，造成如此比例的主因是美國做的不夠，未能在不讓凶手和危險人物取得槍枝這種基本共識上採取行動，在美國可以輕易取得槍枝。

美國近幾個月來曾發生數起大規模死傷的槍擊案，歐巴馬在每次事發後都推動加強槍枝管制。歐巴馬說，這起最新發生的血案，應該為美國人敲起一記警鐘。
