台灣健兒莊智淵及陳建安今年5月勇奪世界桌球錦標賽男雙金牌，為我國拿下史上第1座世界冠軍，這2位都是合作金庫銀行一路栽培的選手，同時也是合庫銀員工，他們不僅是台灣之光，更是合庫之光。

合庫銀長期深耕國內體育，除桌球外，還有羽球、棒球，合計每年贊助費用超過1億元，桌球隊成立於1947年，目前主力球員有莊智淵、陳建安、吳志祺、黃怡樺、鄭怡靜等；羽球隊1992年成立，為台灣4大羽球隊之一。

棒球隊成立於1948年，為歷史最悠久的甲組成棒隊伍，曾經培育出郭源治、郭泰源、李來發、高英傑、陳金鋒、彭政閔、林智勝、高志綱等知名球員。

合庫銀旗下球員，退役後還可轉至銀行當正式行員，甚至升到經理、主秘等高階職務，儼然成為運動員轉型銀行家重要推手。
