【綜合報導】高雄市旗津全島僅1座加油站，緊鄰「25淑女墓」，當地2名男子偷鄰居機車的汽油，被逮後竟稱，鬼月怕鬼，晚上不敢去加油站，先偷鄰居老舊機車裡的汽油來用。

《自由時報》報導，警方調查，有竊盜前科的楊姓男子（25歲）及陳姓少年(16歲)，本月7日鬼門開，鎖定鄰居老舊機車，扳開坐墊以管線抽光機車的油，再導引到自己機車裡；警方清查，2男近來至少涉及5起竊案。

1973年25名旗津女工搭渡輪上班途中因沉船溺斃，25人下葬當地後，靈異傳說不斷，網友曾票選為十大鬼地方。當地警方說，地方盛傳因25名女工都未婚，大多騷擾未婚男子，很多旗津居民因而入夜不敢出門；近年已改建為勞動女性紀念公園。
