新北市政府又有新福利政策推出，衛生局31日舉行記者會，正式宣佈8月1日起推動「新北市第3胎（含）以上，0-6歲幼兒就診醫療掛號費減免」政策。強調民眾帶小朋友看病，只要攜帶健保卡及戶口名簿或戶籍謄本影本，到貼有衛生局核發標誌的醫療院所，就可享有門急診掛號費減免，預計可嘉惠2萬多個家庭，且完全不花政府一毛錢。
副市長侯友宜表示，繼新北市政府補助新生胎兒每人2萬獎勵金後，今年再擴大關懷層面，推動「新北市第3胎（含）以上，0-6歲幼兒就診醫療掛號費減免」政策。藉由減輕多子家庭養育子女的經濟負擔，鼓勵市民提高生育意願、減緩少子化現象，經半年籌劃獲得轄內725家中西牙科醫療院所共襄盛舉！特別感謝參與的醫療院所，送給第三胎家庭一個大紅包。
衛生局指出，配合的醫療院所中，包括本局所屬的新北市立聯合醫院及29區衛生所、亞東紀念醫院、新店耕莘醫院、永和耕莘醫院、樂生療養院提供門急診掛號費全免優惠，另雙和、慈濟、馬偕淡水院區、國泰汐止分院、恩主公、新莊新泰、樹林仁愛、板橋中興等醫院，則亦有不同程度的減免措施。
衛生局表示，此次參與第3胎0-6歲掛號費減免的725家醫療院所中，醫院共50家、西醫診所243家、牙醫診所199家、中醫診所233家，其中參與之小兒科診所共48家，佔本市小兒科診所21％、家庭醫學科診所46家，佔本市家醫科診所之22％，且家數仍陸續增加中，期待透過幼童常就醫之院所共同合作，提供幼童們專業適切的醫療照護。並指加入的醫院診所皆貼有衛生局「新北市嘉惠生育第3胎，0-6歲掛號費減免」標誌、海報，歡迎民眾逕上衛生局網站http://www.health.ntpc.gov.tw查詢費用減免的詳情。
