【蔡智銘／台中報導】食品衛生安全頻傳「地雷」，民眾乾脆自己種，台中市政府在旱溪岸旁開闢2公頃的「城市體驗農園」，吸引上千民眾搶當農夫，第2期今天開放民眾耕作，共有360個單位田畦，副市長徐中雄親自帶隊「開鏟」，市議員李麗華等人也到場祈求民眾能有個豐收的季節，並建議市府能開發更多未利用的土地，讓市民體驗田園樂趣。

另外，太平區農會已巠邀請臺中農業改良場研究員，7月起規劃基礎班、進階班各3梯次，包括果菜栽培技術、有機堆肥製作、病蟲害防治等課程，歡迎民眾到農會報名參加。
