南投驚世媳婦林于如賭債纏身詐保殺害3至親，最高法院5/29展開生死辯論。

涉嫌連續殺害母親、婆婆和丈夫3條人命的女子林于如，手段凶殘被外界形容是「驚世媳婦」，檢警調查她殺人的動機是因為積欠賭債，為此想詐領保險金。檢方認為林女手段凶殘，連續殺害3名至親應判處死刑；但林女律師表示，她患有重度憂鬱症才犯案，且智商僅57，主張不應判死；案件將於下月13日宣判。
據《自由時報》報導，被稱為「驚世媳婦」的林于如(32歲)，原和劉姓丈夫在南投縣埔里鎮經營臭豆腐的批發生意，家境還算富裕。但她在08年間，開始沉迷於六合彩簽賭，因積欠賭債向母親借錢被拒，狠心將她推下樓致死，詐領550萬保險金。
隔年5月，林女又將安眠藥、抗憂鬱藥等注入鄭姓婆婆的點滴瓶致死；6月又趁劉姓丈夫住院時，再以同樣手法毒死丈夫，因此接連向保險公司申請1200萬的保險理賠金。保險公司驚覺有異，查出林女去年也曾詐領550萬保險金，揭發出她一連串的殺人計畫。
林女接連殺害母親、婆婆和丈夫3名至親，其中殺害母親和婆婆的部分，去年已判處2個無期徒刑定讞，目前入獄服刑中；但殺害丈夫部分，法院認為她曾行凶失敗，卻又執意下手，因此遭高分院判處死刑；最高法院29日首度開庭辯論，檢方認定林女弒親、逆倫惡行重大，判死刑可說是「罪當其罰」。
但林女的辯護律師表示，她的智商只有57(心智年齡約7至11歲)，嫁到夫家後，因受到家暴而導致重度憂鬱症，提出依照國際人權公約，林女有心智和精神障礙不得判處死刑。
被害人家屬聽聞林女智商僅57，感到不以為然，甚至反問智商57去會去簽六合彩嗎？而且還設下如此縝密的殺人計畫，說她智商才57，根本是「騙肖ㄟ」，只是想免除死罪的狡辯之詞。
