電梯工人摔死　包商被判緩刑

電梯安裝包商謝榮乾去年承攬基隆關六堵分關貨梯設備更新工程，負責安裝工作，因疏未設置防護措施，也未督促工人配戴安全帶及安全帽，當工人陳明發8月10日下午在拆除貨梯軌道時，自4樓踏空後，直接摔至地下1樓，頭顱破裂，送醫不治。

由於事後他和電梯承包商已與家屬以300萬元和解，基隆地院最近審結，依業務過失致死罪，判他3月徒刑，緩刑2年。
