歐巴馬見緬甸總統　人權團體批評

美國總統歐巴馬於當地時間周一，在白宮與首次訪美的緬甸總統登盛（Thein Sein）會面。登盛除了是首次訪美，同時也是緬甸47年來首位訪美元首。而歐巴馬接見登盛前，備受批評。有人權團體批評歐巴馬，忽視緬甸人權狀況問題，亦有人指歐巴馬與緬甸修好關係的步伐太快。

法新社報導，但美國政府官員表示，登盛政府推行改革，釋放民主象徵的反對派領翁山蘇姬及數百名政治犯、解除嚴厲審查制度，撤銷對工會及抗議活動的禁制等，均值得美國支持。

雖說緬甸推行了不少改革，但近月不斷發生針對信奉伊斯蘭教的羅興亞人襲擊事件，便有人權監察報告指控緬甸政府，是在進行「清洗」回教行為。
